The place has been identified as a place where Togbui Tsala (Komfo Anokye) visited and met his twin brother Togbui Tsali to be in isolation before returning to the Ashanti Kingdom to bring down the golden stool of the Ashanti kingdom.
The place was the exile home of one of the Kings of Anlo who was being sort after by the kingdom of Notsie. Fiaxor is also the place where a spritual lion was killed by Togbui Gawu.
